About the Class

In this workshop, we will explore the structural and functional similarities and differences between the four different types of barrels in the Pilates studio. You will go over exercises and variations on each of the barrels that Katie most often prescribes for her clients, observe them on four different types of bodies, and discuss the exercise selection process. By understanding how each barrel provides varying degrees of feedback and support, you can create the right environment to successfully guide how your students explore, experience, and internalize movement.
